Do you have a To Don't list?

Most of you probably also use a calendar to keep track of events. Personally I use Google Calendar. I like the ability to move events around. I find that feature handy to keep track of list builders I use that allow me to mail after certain intervals.

Most of you also probably have a to do list of things you want to get accomplished. When you get something done on your to do list, you check it off.

Do you have a To Don't list?

A To Don't list is just the opposite: it's a list of things that you never get accomplished. It consists of things you never want to check off. Here is a To Don't List from Paul Birdsall, a leader in Internet and network marketing:

1. Don't spend time with negative people
2. Don't spend time with uncoachable people
3. Don't ever stop enrolling or sponsoring new people all the time
4. Don't ever stop helping the masses
5. Don't stop getting better
6. Don't ever stop believing you can do it
7. Don't use these words ever: try, might, maybe, or should

Another way to help you accomplish the things you need to in the day is to use a calendar.

You Can Become Unstoppable

How do you get to where you want to go to? Become unstoppable. Make a decision to never quit. Whenever you feel like quitting, make the decision to carry on. Not quitting will make you stronger and more resilient.

If you quit when you feel like quitting, then what will happen the next time you get into a similar situation? Will the previous situation be in your mind?

I've heard that you can't fail if you don't quit. So why do people quit? It could be that they want the easy way out. They don't want the make the sacrifice necessary to get where they want to go. Or they blame something or someone else and think that they have no control. Or they keep doing the same things over and over and expecting different results.

Make a decision today to become unstoppable. Write down your commitment. Be a winner and do not quit. Many people quit when they're on the verge of success. Do you want to be one of those people?

As an example, take a look at Olympic medalists. It can take a lot of sacrifice and training in unfavorable conditions to get to the level required to be an Olympic athlete. The ones that make it have the mental toughness to never quit when times are bad. They found a way to keep their dream alive and they became unstoppable.

Do you worry about perfection?

Back in my grade school days, I was known as a person who always got great marks and did well academically. Classmates liked to ask about the marks I got for comparison purposes.

I always did my homework, and when I had a test coming up, I would probably be at home studying. I wanted to make sure I knew all the material that would be on the test. I enjoyed aiming to get a perfect 100% on a test because it was the best mark possible. Anything less and I would probably be thinking "What mistakes did I make?".

In Internet and network marketing, the idea of perfection is absolutely false. If you wait until your website is perfect, your sales letter is perfect, your ad copy is perfect, all your forms are perfect, you'll always be waiting. And if you're waiting for everything in your life to be perfect before taking on that new project you've always wanted to do, you could be waiting a very long time...

You can always learn and improve as you go. Some things just won't work for you, and some will. Don't be afraid to take a risk.
